This is my blog. I have put one up after I witnessed how simple and functional WordPress is (although lately I am thinking of switch to a statically generated site). It’s a great way to say what you want quickly without worrying much about the technicalities of the website. Its more about the content than the technology, and even if I come from a technological background, I can always appreciate that the essence of communication is not in the means but in the message itself.
I am a 51 year-old Greek, married, father of two. I have studied Mechanical Engineering but continued my studies in Network and System Engineering. So I work as a Network and Systems Engineer, but lately I also carry the profile of a Network Automation Engineer.
My professional interests are in networking, virtualization, NetDevOps and Automation in general. My specialization is in Network, Systems, Performance and Service Level Monitoring. I also double a bit as a system admin for the infrastructure under my control (Linux, Vmware).
I currently hold a CCNP Enterprise Certification, a Cisco Devnet Associate and a Cisco Devnet Professional Certification. I am studying but I am not sure if I will ever pursue the Cisco Devnet Expert Certification.
I am also a Cisco Champion!
In 2020 I founded along with a team of equally motivated individuals a community for Greek/Greek Speaking Network Engineers interested in Network Automation. This is our website https://netautogr.github.io/ . If you are interested in the same subject and fit the profile, come join us! If not, the feel free to contact us, we are always open to communication and collaboration initiatives!
My personal interests are music, basketball, gaming (RPGs and Strategy games). I have a special place for World of Warcraft in my gaming heart.
You can reach me on Twitter under the handle @mythryll . If you want to reach me in World of Warcraft, look for a paladin named mythryll in the Anachronos Realm (EU).
